可控硅，英文名称为Silicon Controlled Rectifier，简写为SCR，是可控硅整流元件的简称，有时也将其称为晶闸管。可控硅是一个具有三个PN结、四层结构的大功率半导体器件，具有体积小、结构简单、功能强、抗高压的特点，现已广泛应用于电视机、电冰箱、无线电遥控、摄像机、定时控制器等设早铅备中。
可控硅的作用一：可控整流作用
可控硅的作用之一就是可控整流，这也是可控硅最基本也最重要的作用。大家所熟知的二极管整流电路只可完成整流的功能，并没有实现可控，而一旦把二极管换做可控硅，便构成了一个可控整流电路。晌姿一个最基本的单相半波可控整流电路中，当正弦交流电压处于正半周时，只有在控制极外加触发脉冲时，可控硅才被触发导通，负载上才会有电压输出，因此可以通过改变控制极上触发脉冲到来的时间，来进一步调节负载上输出电压的平均值，达到可控整流的作用。
可控硅的陆谨好作用二：用作无触点开关
可控硅的作用之二就是用作无触点开关，经常用于自动化设备中，代替通用继电器，具有无噪音、寿命长的特点。
可控硅的作用三：开关和调压作用
可控硅的作用之三就是起到开关和调压的作用，经常应用于交流电路中，由于其被触发时间不同，因此通过它的电流只有其交流周期的一部分，通过它的电压只有全电压的一部分，因而起到调节输出电压的作用。
